Moharram Navidkia:
Earning nine championship trophies of the Persian Gulf Pro League and the Iranian Hazfi Cup turned Navidkia into an outstanding player in Iranian football. Navidkia’s playing style was distinctive but continuous injuries didn’t allow him to demonstrate the technical quality of his performance in the national team. Navidkia was in Iran 2006 World Cup squad but didn’t have the opportunity to play.

Ehsan Hajsafi:
Hajsafi was not only the first Isfahani footballer who played in a World Cup but also the first who played in two consecutive World Cup tournaments. This experienced player participated in the national team’s all three games in Russia. In two of them he was also chosen as the captain of the team, setting another record for Isfahan football.
